Anthony Jackson-Miller

Victim Services Specialist

I am a native of Connecticut, born and raised. I have a range of experiences having worked as a correctional officer, human service worker in a halfway house, mental health and substance use case manager, and a mental health crisis clinician. I currently work as a Victim Affairs Liaison at the Burlington Police Department (BPD) for the Parallel Justice for Victims of Crime program. In addition to this role, I work with impacted parties connected with the Tamarack program, and run the Noise program in partnership with the BPD. While I take pride in serving and supporting the residents of Burlington, I reside in Quebec, Canada with my fiance and 2 daughters. I love Burlington because it is the focal point of diversity in Vermont, but is also a bridge that sets the tone for the rest of the state. In my role as a Victim Services Specialist, I hope to create a safe space for victims of crime to be heard and to have the support to choose what they need to feel whole.
